This policy explains what information [Company legal name] (“we”) collects through Soarello, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you request a free audit
- The website address, business name, category, city and state you enter, and your email address if you choose to provide it.
- Publicly available content from the website you ask us to audit (page text, links, page structure, a screenshot of the first mobile screen) and technical measurements such as load time.
- A hashed (not raw) version of your IP address, used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
When you create an account or subscribe
- Your name, email address and a securely hashed password.
- Business information you provide during onboarding: services, service area, goals, advertising budget, brand guidelines, approved claims, restrictions, and any logo you upload.
- Billing records such as subscription status and invoices. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card number.
- Records of the authorizations you give us (for example, access to your Google Ads account) and when you gave or revoked them.
If you connect Google Ads
With your authorization we access your Google Ads account to read performance data and, only after your explicit approval, to set up approved campaigns. We store the access token encrypted. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can disconnect at any time.
Usage information
We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to understand how visitors move through our site (for example, which campaign link brought you to us). We do not use third-party advertising trackers. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not set our analytics cookies.
How we use information
- To run audits, prepare campaign plans and reports, and provide the service you request.
- To send service emails, such as your audit link, reports, billing notices and password resets.
- To send marketing emails only if you opted in; every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To secure our service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- To improve our product using aggregated, de-identified statistics.
AI processing
We use AI models to help analyze websites and draft marketing materials. By default these are models we operate ourselves. Your business information is sent to a third-party AI provider only if you explicitly allow it, and you can withdraw that permission at any time. AI output is checked by software and reviewed by people before it is used.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Soarello — hosting, database, payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, and, if you allow it, an AI provider — under agreements that restrict their use of it; with Google when you connect your Google Ads account; or when required by law.
Retention
We keep account and business information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Free audit reports are kept so their private link keeps working; you can ask us to delete one at any time.
Security
We use encryption in transit, encrypted storage for third-party access tokens, access controls that keep each customer's data separate, and audit logs of sensitive actions. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
You can access and update your business information in your dashboard, unsubscribe from marketing emails, revoke authorizations, and request a copy or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights; we will honor them as required by law.
Children
Our service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.
Changes
We will post updates here and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
